The Honorable Robert R. Rigsby, Associate Justice of the Washington, DC District Superior Court visited Vallejo High School on September 23, 2002, to addressed students . No stranger to local residents, Judge Rigsby was born in San Francisco and raised in Vallejo, California. Judge Rigsby’s remarkable career has included service in DC, Hawaii, and overseas in Africa, Egypt, Israel, Korea, Japan, and Kuwait.
He spoke to Vallejo students as he share his history as kid getting in trouble and those in the community, including Vallejo’s Brown family and the judicial system, which helped him become a success.
He spoke to students about Manhood, Scholarship, Uplift, and Perseverance as the keys for Vallejo students to practice as they work their way through high School and beyond.
Judge Rigsby continues his service by overseeing the adjudication of issues around technology platforms like Facebook and others around issues of being carriers of or producing content as it relates to censorship, liabilities, and tax issues.
