Color Theory

Objective: Students evaluate their own color perception skills.

The student outcome includes sharing and discussing their results with classmates and compare to a much larger sample from around the world..

Gestalt Theory

Objective: Students learn the basic principles of Gestalt theory. Big Question is what images do you see daily that incorporate elements of Gestalt Theory?

The student outcome is to choose an image and identify at least two Gestalt Theory elements in its design.

Branding and logo creation

Objective: After students study branding and advertising they create an assessment of what their personal brand should be.

The student outcome is to create their own personal logo based on the previous examination.

Working with Green Screens and Layers

Objective: Students learn the fundamental of using a green screen and simple image editing to create multiple-layers images

The student outcome is to create a multi-layered image.

Working with AI to create images

Objective: Students explore and learn to use Dalle-2 (OPenAI) to create images

Student outcome involves the creation of multiple images by communicating desired results in written natural language to direct the AI engine to create a sampling based on the student’s description. “F-15 parked in a classroom in the style of Banksy.”

Hero’s Journey and Story Telling

Objective: Students show mastery of the elements of the classic Hero’s Journey structure of story-telling.

Student outcome is to show mastery by “rolling their own Hero’s Journey tale by completing all 12 stages by the roll of a die, then writing it with appropriate elements and style.

Web Development

Objective: Students learn the basics of WordPress and website management

Student outcomes include creating content on Redhawks Rising, a project of the Multimedia Pathway, to demonstrate content creation, editing, publishing, and managing an industry-standard web publishing platform.
